About the Engage! search
The Engage! search is a tool that intentionally connects University of Minnesota students with meaningful experiences outside of the classroom. It offers a means of focused exploration so that students can develop a clear path of engagement from freshman to senior year. Students can tailor their searches to specific academic majors and disciplines, as well as their other interests and aspirations.
The use of this tool is ultimately intended to actively advance and support the learning, reflection, and practical experience of undergraduate students. Students will use the tool to find engagement opportunities that promote learning and development in diverse contexts throughout the undergraduate experience.
The search tool, powered by Google, accesses a focused set of Web sites identified by each campus.
- On the Duluth campus, the Engage! search tool is managed by the Knowledge Management Center in the Academic Support and Student Life division. If you are a student looking for guidance on choosing appropriate engagement opportunities, contact the Office of Civic Engagement in Academic Administration and College of Education and Human Service Professions.
- On the Morris campus, the Engage! search is managed by the Office of Student Activities.
- On the Twin Cities campus, the Engage! search is managed by the Office for Student Engagement and Leadership in the Office for Student Affairs.
